Web design & development
Helping new businesses launch websites they’re proud of.
I design and build websites for founders and independent businesses getting online for the first time — no jargon, no bloated process, no six-month timelines. Just a clear plan and a site you own outright.
Start your projectGetting online shouldn’t feel like this.
You know your business needs a real website. But between domains, hosting, builders, templates, SEO, and seventeen tabs of conflicting advice, “just make a website” turns into a second job.
So it sits on the to-do list. Meanwhile, potential customers are googling you and finding nothing — or worse, finding your competitors.
You don't know where to start.
Every platform claims to be the easy one. None of them tell you what you actually need.
DIY is eating your weekends.
You started a business to do the work you love, not to fight a page builder at midnight.
You're afraid of wasting money.
You've heard the stories: big invoice, slow process, a site that looks fine and converts nobody.
It doesn’t have to be foggy. That’s kind of my whole thing.
Hi, I’m the person who builds it — all of it.
I’ve spent over a decade building websites professionally, and I’ve seen how the process gets bloated: layers of account managers, safe cookie-cutter work, promises made in the pitch that quietly die in the project.
Lucid Interactions is the opposite of that. You work directly with the person designing and building your site. You get straight answers about what you need — and what you don’t. You get a fixed scope, a clear plan, and a site that’s yours when we’re done. No retainers you didn’t ask for. No dependency by design.

One
point of contact
Zero
jargon
Three steps. That’s the plan.
01
Tell me what you're building.
Fill out the short form below. I'll reply within a day or two with honest first thoughts — even if the honest answer is “you don't need me yet.”
02
We shape it together.
A conversation, not a sales call. We nail down what your site needs to do, what it should say, and what it should cost. You get a flat quote and a timeline before anything starts.
03
I design, build, and launch it.
You review real progress along the way, not surprises at the end. When it's live, you own everything — code, content, accounts, all of it.
What you end up with
A web presence that makes your business look as legitimate as it actually is. A place to send people that you’re genuinely proud of. A brand that hangs together — logo, message, site, all telling the same story.
And the part nobody mentions: relief. It’s handled. You’re in good hands, and you can get back to the work you actually started this business to do.
What I build
The premium option
Custom websites (Next.js)
Fast, bespoke, built from scratch for businesses that want their site to be a genuine asset — perfect for startups and anyone who’s outgrown templates before even starting.
The practical option
WordPress websites
Polished, professional, and easy for you to update yourself after launch. Ideal for a first web presence that needs to look sharp without a custom-build budget.
Not site-ready yet? I also take on logos, brand identity, and messaging as standalone projects.
Questions, answered straight
How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope, which is exactly why step one is a conversation. You'll get a flat, fixed quote before any work begins — no hourly meters, no surprise invoices.
How long does it take?
Most projects launch in weeks, not months. You'll get a real timeline with your quote, and you'll see progress throughout.
Will I be locked into maintenance contracts?
No. I build sites you own and can run without me. If you wantongoing help later, I’m around — but independence is the default.
Next.js or WordPress — which one do I need?
Honestly, most first websites are perfectly served by WordPress. If you need custom functionality, top-tier performance, or something templates can't do, that's when Next.js earns its price. I'll tell you straight which one fits.
Tell me what you’re building.
Takes two minutes. I’ll reply personally within a couple of days.
